Connection Points

In CuteDraw, you connect shapes by attaching, or gluing (glue: A property of shapes that causes them to stay connected even when one of the shapes is moved. When you attach a connector to a shape, you glue the connector.), connectors to shape connection points .

A connection point on a shape is a blue.

When the endpoint of the connector move over the connection point, the red rectangle will appear, there are several cases.

When you select connector line tool (Connector tool, Line tool, Arc tool, Curve tool, Sector tool, Freehand tool), once the mouse moves over the connection point, the red rectangle will appear, this means you can connector to the shape.

When you move the endpoint of the connector, once the mouse moves over the connection point, the red rectangle will appear.

When you move the shapes or the connector, once the endpoint of the connector and the connection point of the shape are at the same position, the red rectangle will appear.

When a connector is glued to that connection point, the endpoint of the connector turns red.

Note The position of connection point determines the direction in which the connector layout.
